Cover of Year 10 English Scheme of Work

English · GCSE (Key Stage 4) £4.99

Year 10 English Scheme of Work

Sixty-three pages covering both GCSE English qualifications at once — Language and Literature are separate GCSEs taught in the same lessons, and this plans both. All four statutory text categories, no set texts named, so it works with whatever your department teaches. Every unit shows a piece of student work with the error in it beside the repair, and there are six printable diagnostics at the back.

The GCSE subject content for English language and English literature (DfE, 2013) and the statutory programme of study for key stage 4 (DfE, 2014) · 63 pages, 18 sections · For heads of department, subject leaders and every teacher who has to deliver it

Cover of Year 11 English Scheme of Work

English · GCSE (Key Stage 4) £4.99

Year 11 English Scheme of Work

Fifty-six pages for the second GCSE year, which begins from an honest fact: Year 10 taught the whole course. One unit covers the single requirement that cannot be pre-taught — unseen texts — and the rest map a writing progression, reorganise four set texts by idea, teach reading against a clock, and plan the revision term from evidence rather than from a topic list.
