What happens to your details
Short version: the only thing collected is a name and an email, from people who ask for the free playbook. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone beyond the services listed below.
Who is responsible
Empower Educators is run by Tahir Ali, a working Head of Behaviour. There is no company behind it. For anything on this page — including asking to be deleted — message me on LinkedIn and I will answer personally.
The free playbook form
Asking for the behaviour playbook means giving a name and an email address. They are sent to my inbox by Formsubmit, which passes the message on and does not sell it.
I use the address for two things: sending the playbook, and telling you when a new one is published. Nothing else. Reply STOP to any email and I will take you off the list — there is no automated list to unsubscribe from, just a person reading replies.
Buying a playbook
Payments are handled entirely by Gumroad, who are the seller of record. Card details never reach this site and I never see them. Gumroad shows me the email address of anyone who buys, so I can send the book and answer questions about it.
How the site is measured
This site uses Microsoft Clarity to see which parts of a page people read and where they get stuck. It records anonymous sessions — mouse movement, clicks, scrolling — and sets cookies to do it.
What you type is masked before it leaves your browser. The download form is marked so that names and email addresses never appear in a recording, and that instruction is written into the page itself rather than left to a setting.
The site is hosted by Vercel, who keep ordinary server logs including IP addresses, as every web host does.
What is not done
- Nothing is sold or rented to anyone, ever.
- There is no advertising, and no advertising trackers.
- There is no profiling and no automated decision-making.
- No data is collected about children through this site.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see what I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Message me and I will do it — there is not much to hold, so it is usually a matter of deleting an email.
If you are unhappy with how I have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes
If this site starts doing something new with data, this page changes at the same time. Last updated 12 August 2026.
