Cover of OCR A Level Psychology Assessment Objectives — Exam Preparation

A working manual for an A-Level psychology department teaching OCR H567, written to the specification and checked against it before release — and the one edition in this series whose cover carries a fact a department needs before Part Two: OCR's own specification states this qualification is being withdrawn. Final first teach September 2026, final assessment Summer 2028, resits from Summer 2029 sit the replacement, H569. A cohort sitting their final series on or before Summer 2028 is unaffected; this book is written to the current, examinable specification throughout.

OCR requires two options chosen from four named applied topics — child psychology, criminal psychology, environmental psychology, sport and exercise psychology — more choice than Pearson's one-from-three and differently structured from AQA's one-from-each-of-three. OCR names two of its three components synoptic in its own specification, and its own list of eight debates runs through Component 02 and again through Applied psychology.

Every claim about this board resolves against OCR's own specification before the book is built, including the withdrawal notice, quoted verbatim, and the weighting chart, drawn to scale from the same figures printed in the table beneath it.
