Year 11 is human geography, and the year the exam arrives. Two A4 pages per unit, divided the way Year 10 divides them: page one is the unit — the vocabulary, the facts, one diagram built to be remembered — and page two is the exam, where the command word, the moves in order and one worked answer marked sit together.
What changes is the last two units, because the scheme's own Year 11 changes there. 3A has no new content. It is the whole course joined up: one chain of four steps running from relief to who gets protected, crossing from physical to human once, with a mechanism on every arrow. The misconception it exists to kill is the belief that naming three topics is synoptic. 3B is revision by diagnosis — not "what shall we revise?" but "what does the evidence say this class cannot yet do?" Its sheet carries the command words, the assessment objectives and the four ways to code a lost mark, and its marked panel diagnoses a lost mark rather than modelling a good answer: a student who knows the content scores 4 out of 9, and the sheet says why.
Board-neutral throughout. The content traces to the Department for Education's own GCSE subject content, which every awarding body has to cover however it orders or labels it. Where boards genuinely differ — the command words they print, the tariffs they set, and which of food, water or energy is studied in depth — the sheets say so rather than picking one and hoping.
