Cover of Year 11 History Knowledge Organisers

Eight units this year, not six: the course adds Conflict and tension and Germany 1890–1945 to the Health and the people and Elizabethan England content from Year 10, then closes with the historic environment and a revision unit built from diagnosis rather than a reading list. Two A4 pages per unit, divided the way Year 10 divides them.

Written for AQA GCSE History (8145), the same specification Year 10 is built from. The historic-environment unit teaches the method AQA sets for judging a specified site — location, function, structure, people, design, and what it reflects of its period — rather than naming this year's site, because AQA changes the site every year and a printed sheet cannot.

The last unit is exam skill, not new content: diagnosis from a full paper, retrieval on the named gaps it finds, and timing practised rather than described. Every date, name and figure was independently fact-checked against AQA's specification and the historical record before publication.
