Practical Posters
Five A3 posters for the laboratory: twenty-five equations grouped by topic with the unit of every symbol, units and prefixes and standard form, the vocabulary a method has to use, the nine hazard symbols, and the six rules of drawing a graph.

**What it is.** 5 A3 posters, print-ready, every exam board.
**What it is for.** The laboratory rather than one unit of it. Everything here is needed in every topic — the equations, the units, the words a method has to use, the symbols on the bottles and the rules for a graph. A cell diagram earns its wall space for three weeks; these earn it for the year.
**How it supports learning.** Each equation is set with the unit of every symbol in the order the symbols appear, so a reading can be checked before it is substituted rather than after the answer comes out wrong. Accurate, precise and resolution are given three separate definitions, because most marks lost in practical questions are lost on that vocabulary and not on the science. The nine hazard symbols are drawn rather than photographed, since they are recognised by outline across a bench. And the graph sheet is one worked set of axes with all six rules visible on it at once — crosses rather than blobs, a line of best fit rather than dot-to-dot, and a ringed anomaly the line goes past instead of through.
