A level Art and Design ends in a timed exam: the supervised session where students make the final piece for the board-set task. But there is no written paper. Every mark, from the first preparatory sketch to that final piece, comes from the work itself, so the guide is about that work: how the marks are made up, what each assessment objective looks like on the page, how to record and annotate so that it earns credit, how to read and write about a work, and how to plan the task the exam board sets. It is preparation rather than revision: nothing to memorise, and everything to check against what the objectives actually ask for.
