The Year 8 half-terms: nutrition, digestion and respiration, chemical reactions, electricity and magnetism, photosynthesis and ecosystems, acids and the reactivity series, and waves.
One A4 sheet per unit, in the order the units are taught. Each sheet carries the same five sections, so a pupil who has used one has used them all: the vocabulary they must be able to define, what they must know and what they must be able to do — kept apart — the single diagram worth remembering, and the misconceptions that cost marks.
Designed to be photocopied. Nothing on the page depends on being in colour, the body text is set for reading at desk distance rather than on a screen, and the vocabulary is laid out as a two-column table so a pupil can cover the meanings with a ruler and self-quiz.
