The one-hour safeguarding INSET, drawn from the safeguarding playbook. Not the annual KCSIE update — that is separate and still required. This is the practice hour that annual training rarely has room for.
Five pillars, one hour, and eighteen minutes of it spent saying the words out loud.
The session is two files. The **slide deck** is what the room watches — thirty one screens timed to the hour. The **facilitator pack** is what the person at the front holds: the run sheet, the handout, the cards the staff work from, and the follow-up. One is no use without the other, and neither needs anything made.
